Thanks God. SMKN 2 Bukittinggi has successfully launched the Website of SMKN 2 Bukittinggi as a means of distributing information to all people who needed it. The launching of this website will be for the development of SMKN 2 Bukittinggi in the future so that it could be involved in national and international competition.

As one of vocational high school, SMKN 2 Bukittinggi has achieved a lot of bright achievements, such getting the first rank in national examination result since five years ago, applying the quality management system ISO 9001:2000, SMM ISO certificate in March 2006. It has also conducted the mutual partnership in form of “Sister School “with Technical school Tuanku Ja'far Serembam Malaysia etc. There will be a lot of achivements in the future.

SMKN 2 Bukittinggi has two departments, Business Management and Tourism. The tourism department has been facilitated with the good training hotel called “EDOTEL SMKN 2 Bukitinggi “consisted with four floors, and 18 rooms. It will use for students to have field training and rented for public.

Finally ,the principal of SMKN 2 Bukitting thanked to all people who have actively participated in developing of this school. It is hoped that this website could be valuable for people who need information.
